Halloween October 31st

Well, we have gotten most of the rooms painted that we are painting...except now we need to paint other rooms so that they look as good as the ones we have painted....

We have finally gotten the fence up so that the dogs have the ability to run around and play...which they need to do cause they are really big dogs.

The neighborhood has a BBQ for everyone before the kids head out trick or treating so I don't have long to post. I am going to try and post some pictures of the house this time.

Closed on the a house

We closed on our new home on Friday the Oct 10th. Lisa is now actively chasing all of the purple paint out of the place (5 coats of primer) and has me scraping and painting the ceiling. The yard is big so our dogs have much room to cavort (that is as soon as we get a fence in...)

The kids started school last week. Matthew is in the junior high and Devin is at the elementary. So far, they seem happy with school and are making friends. Devin has a new BFF that lives right next door.

The neighbors have all been very nice, introducing themselves, offering help, etc. As soon as I get it figured out how to post pics I will.

I start work on November 1st, so it'll be back to regular Marine Corps living. Our furniture arrives in a week...the same day as the cable guy, the gutter guy, and the tankless water heater guy...
